Bled Forum on Europe, Centre for eGovernace Development (CeGD), and the Austrian Science and Research Liaison office in Ljubljana (ASO) are organizing the 11th Bled Forum on Europe, which is this year dedicated to The Future of Information Society and Challenges for Good Governance.
This year the Bled Forum on Europe Conference is divided into the Plenary events and a number of thematic sessions.
The objectives of the 11th Bled Forum on Europe include:
- contribution to further advancement of future oriented and knowledge based good governance around Europe,
-presentation of examples of good practice in policy making and utilization of foresight results,
- organization of foresight capacity building workshop,
- further development of a comprehensive view for Information Society development in South Eastern Europe (post-Malmo and eSEE Agenda +).
Among this years' speakers are Mr. Jerome c. Glenn, Director of the Millennium Project, Mr. Yves Punie from the EC JRC-IPTS, Mr. Yannis Charalabidis from the University of the Aegean in Greece, Mr. Wilfried Grommen, RTO Microsoft CEE and many others.
