Anja Polajnar
Knowledge Platform Coordinator

Anja Polajnar is the Knowledge Platform coordinator at the Centre for eGovernance Development for South East Europe. As the coordinator, she is in charge of formulating educational curricula for trainings, coordination of educational programme and pool of experts, formulating regional and development project proposals, drawing up work programme and conducting research.
Anja worked as an intern at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the Division for International Development Assistance and Humanitarian Aid where she gained important knowledge on Slovenian involvement international development and humanitarian issues.
While studying, Anja worked as a coordinator of an international project RISC (Rare Incidents Strong Consequences) at the University of Ljubljana. She was mainly responsible for organisation of conferences, seminars and workshops. Afterwards she worked as a journalist for the Parliamentary Program at the Slovenian National TV Channel (mainly EU themes). As a student she worked in protocol office of the Mayor of the City of Ljubljana. She has been involved in many culture and charity projects as a volunteer.
She graduated with honours at the University of Ljubljana at the Faculty for Social Sciences receiving a bachelor’s degree in International Relations. In 2006 she studied Nordic Politics and at the University of Bergen in Norway for 6 months. She is involved in postgraduate programme of Polictical Science at the University of Ljubljana.
