About RENAISSANCE FOR eGOVERNANCE ENVISIONING EVENT 2012
Futures of eGovernance in Central Eastern Europe

Under the patronage of the Republic of Slovenia, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Centre for eGovernance Development (CeGD) organised a three-day event on Futures of eGovernance in Central East Europe, targeted at government policymakers and decision makers, fo-cused on how technology can transform the public sector in citizen services, education, and competitive-ness of economy.

Partner of the conference:

Microsoft

In partnership with CeGD, Microsoft created a mutually-beneficial engagement that helped to position both parties as thought-leaders in the use of technology in the public sector. Our ambition was to get opportunity to speak with experts in the academic field to identify strategies to effectively use technology in the public sector, to create sustainable change and evolution, and to envision that citizens can be served by responsive and innovative governments. By working together, we brought the right technology, policy, and public administration knowledge together and we created compelling and valuable workshops for senior government functional leaders.
