About the Conference

International conference: Renaissance for eGovernance & SEE provided a platform to leaders, technocrats, researchers, practitioners and academics across the SEE region to present and discuss on their research findings, experiences, strategies, policies, technologies, case studies and best practices in the field of eGovernment and eGovernance.

Centre for eGovernance Development (CeGD) and Microsoft delivered a three-day event targeted at government policymakers and decision makers focused on how technology can transform the public sector in citizen services, education, and healthcare.

The conference provided an opportunity for all stakeholders to come together to gain an understanding of real-world eGovernment and eGovernance issues and to discuss way to put research into practice as well as understanding how the future of technology raises both possibilities and challenges in the public sector.

Agenda & Objectives

The objectives of the Information society leadership gathering were:

  • to identify global challenges and the role of information society development for good governance development

  • to identify regional South Eastern Europe needs for information society development from the prospective of policy design, legal regulations and ICT solutions

  • to present ICT solutions for improving good governance

  • to present the model and good practice cases of public private partnership

  • to have a futures foresight perspective on eGovernance solutions

We invited all the participants that cover areas as the policy making or are government representatives within the region of SEE, academics, decision makers, legal advisers of the public sector, etc…and everybody that could envision and implement certain changes into particular governmental policies as well can impact to the SEE region as a whole.
